The quality fair considers itself the obvious meeting place for everyone who works with leadership and development in the Swedish public sector. At the invitation of the fair, RITE agency participated for three days in November.
Interested trade fair visitors were invited to participate in Problem Recycing, a popcorn ritual inspired by the remarkable ability of popcorn to transform in an instant from a small, hard, inedible kernel into something soft and light, fluffy and delicious.
In our stand we also had an information desk where I and Anders Kyrkander stood ready to talk about and hold conversations about the RITE project. The artist Adam James also attracted additional visitors with his concept “the third thing”.
The Problem Recycling popcorn ritual has been developed within RITE by artists Anne Marte Overaa and Sara Granér, and at the fair artist John Huntington also contributed. One important intention with the ritual is to engage participants in a place where many people move about – a place with a shared platform, yet where many may also feel isolated from one another.
